Medium: ink, pen, printed papers

Year: 2009

Dimension: A4 papers

The concept is the interaction between the real and virtual identities that one creates in modern societies by which their schizophrenic character is shaped!

I started sketching on my frozen printed papers that had spread all around my life!

I treated with these papers like a diary. Here, my special case as a young Iranian who is away from her society creates specific obsessions that are presented in sketches and images.

You can read texts here and there on them. Please zoom in on the photos by clicking on them

The drawings are connecting my virtual identity (the images coming from my real chaotic background) to the reality that had surrounded me in those times (still objects around me, calm and peaceful. The small peaceful city in the north of Sweden was really in contrast with two months before it-summer 2009- in Tehran.

The installation was presented in a group exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden, in May 2009 and also it was shown in public places in Athens, Greece in collaboration with the artist Blanka Amezkua for the project called: (3///3…three walls on Wednesdays…)
